The homepage displays a list of recent additions to the database. Clicking on the title of each row’s entry will display details about that entry. Visitors are then able to examine each of these pieces of data. The list can also be sorted by trend type and publication year.
Additionally, filters are located at the far right of the main list that allow for more targeted searches of the database’s holdings. Visitors may filter searches by Trends, Categories, and Settings.
Trends
The Trends dropdown option provides another method for exploring the various trends that comprise the database.
Categories
The Categories option gives users the opportunity to focus on specific types of information in the database. The categories into which the data are organized include Current Usage; Anticipated Usage; and Attitudes, Benefits, and Challenges; and Other.
Settings
Filtering by Settings yields search results pertaining to specified occupational settings, including K–12, business and industry, and higher education.
